Rumini Pharmacy Terms of Use & Service Terms
Pharmacy-First Digital Care Platform (Website, Patient Portal, and Pharmacy Services)

1. Definitions
- “Rumini Pharmacy” means the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) licensed and accredited pharmacy operating under OCP License # 311091, located at 45–2355 Derry Rd E, Mississauga, ON, L5S 1V6.
- “Rumini” may refer collectively to Rumini Pharmacy and/or Rumini’s affiliated digital services, depending on context.
- “Rumini Health” refers to the telehealth service component that facilitates clinical assessments where a prescriber’s assessment is required.
- “Partner Pharmacy” refers to an OCP-accredited pharmacy partner used for dispensing and delivery in certain workflows, where applicable.
- “Prescriber” means an Ontario-licensed physician or nurse practitioner (or other authorized prescriber) practising within their professional scope and regulatory standards.
- “Pharmacist Prescribing” refers to pharmacist-led assessment and prescribing for eligible minor ailments within Ontario scope of practice.
“You” / “Patient” means the individual using the Platform (or a lawful substitute decision maker where permitted).
2. Our Model: Pharmacy-First Digital Care
Rumini operates as a pharmacy-first digital healthcare platform.
- Rumini Pharmacy is an OCP-licensed and accredited pharmacy. Prescription dispensing, medication management, counselling, order fulfillment, and pharmacy services are provided by licensed Ontario pharmacists, in accordance with provincial and federal law.
- Certain treatments and specialty programs require Prescriber assessment and approval. These clinical assessments and prescribing services are provided by Ontario-licensed physicians or nurse practitioners practising within their scope and applicable standards.
Rumini does not provide emergency medical services. If you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
3. Eligibility and Use Restrictions
- You are eligible to receive pharmacy and/or virtual care services in Ontario, and
- You provide accurate, complete, and current information.
Ontario-only services: Rumini currently operates exclusively in Ontario. You may not use the Platform to request dispensing or shipping outside Ontario.
4. No Emergency Care and Care Limitations
- Call 911 immediately
- Attend the nearest emergency department.
5. Creating and Maintaining Your Account (Where Applicable)
To access certain services, you may need to create an account and/or verify your identity. You agree to:
- Provide accurate identity and contact information;
- Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials;
- Notify Rumini promptly if you believe your account is compromised; and
- Accept responsibility for activities that occur under your account.
Rumini may request additional information (including identification) to meet legal, clinical, pharmacy, and anti-diversion requirements.
6. Online Pharmacy Services (Available to All Patients)
6.1 Prescription Uploads
You may:
- Upload a valid prescription issued by a licensed prescriber;
- Have prescriptions sent directly to Rumini Pharmacy; and/or
- Submit prescriptions issued through Rumini’s physician-led programs.
All prescriptions are verified by licensed pharmacists prior to dispensing.
6.2 Prescription Transfers
- In compliance with OCP prescription transfer requirements;
- With verification of prescription details, remaining refills, and prescriber information; and
- With the goal of minimizing interruption to therapy
6.3 Refills
Where refills remain on a valid prescription, you may request refills online.
All refill requests are reviewed by a pharmacist before dispensing.
6.4 Renewals
- Pharmacists assess whether renewal is permitted within scope; or
- Rumini coordinates renewal assessments through affiliated Ontario-licensed physicians or nurse practitioners.
Renewals are processed only when clinically appropriate.
6.5 Ongoing Prescription Management
- View active medications;
- Track orders and deliveries;
- Request refills or renewals; and
- Receive pharmacy follow-ups.
Rumini is designed for ongoing medication management, not one-time dispensing.
7. Physician-Led Specialty Programs (Physician Assessment and Approval Required)
7.1 Weight Management (Physician-Led)
Program Fee (Upfront)
- CA $89 Program Fee (Upfront) is required to begin intake and clinical assessment.
- This includes a CA $40 initial assessment and processing component.
If Prescription Is Not Approved
- CA $40 is retained to cover completed assessment and processing.
- CA $49 is refunded to the original payment method.
Non-Refundability Once Treatment Proceeds
Once the assessment starts and a prescription is approved / treatment proceeds, the program fee becomes non-refundable.
Follow-Up / Renewal Fees
- CA $40 per follow-up or renewal assessment
- Non-refundable once reviewed
Medication Costs
- Prescription weight-loss medications may start at approximately CA $349, but vary based on:
- Medication selected
- Dosage and duration
- Brand vs. available alternatives
- Manufacturer pricing and supply
- Medication costs are billed only if prescribed and are non-refundable
7.2 Men’s Health / Erectile Dysfunction (Physician-Led)
Assessment Fee (Upfront)
- CA $40 Clinical Assessment Fee (Upfront)
This fee covers: - Secure medical intake review
- Physician assessment and prescribing review
- Clinical documentation and prescription coordination
This fee is non-refundable once the assessment process has started, regardless of prescribing outcome.
Medication Costs
- Medication selected
- Strength and quantity
- Brand vs. generic options
Medication costs are billed only if a prescription is approved and are non-refundable.
7.3 Hair Loss (Physician-Led)
Assessment Fee (Upfront)
- CA $40 Clinical Assessment Fee (Upfront)
This fee covers: - Medical intake review
- Physician assessment and treatment evaluation
- Prescription processing and coordination
This fee is non-refundable once the assessment process has started, regardless of prescribing outcome.
Medication Costs
- Medication type and formulation
- Dosage and duration of therapy
Medication costs are billed only if prescribed and are non-refundable.
8. Pharmacist-Led Minor Ailments (Within Ontario Scope of Practice)
For eligible minor ailments:
- Licensed Ontario pharmacists conduct assessments;
- Prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate; and
- Patients may be referred to a physician or in-person care if outside scope.
Fees & Medication Costs
- Any applicable fees are disclosed before submission.
- Medication prices vary based on:
- Condition treated
- Medication prescribed
- Dosage and quantity
Patients are charged only if treatment is prescribed and dispensed
9. Clinical Review & Safety Checks
- Prescription validity
- Dosage and directions
- Drug interactions and contraindications
- Allergies and medication history
Dispensing may be delayed or declined if safety concerns are identified.
10. Medication Safety and Patient Responsibilities
All prescription medications carry risks, side effects, and contraindications. You agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate medical information;
- Follow prescribed directions;
- Report adverse effects promptly; and
- Seek emergency care when required.
Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may result in serious harm. Rumini may refuse or discontinue services if information appears false, inconsistent, or unsafe.
11. No Guarantee of Prescription or Service Outcome
Submitting an intake form or paying fees does not guarantee that:
- A prescription will be issued;
- A medication will be dispensed;
- An existing prescription will be renewed; or
- A transfer can be completed without delays.
All clinical and pharmacy decisions are made using professional judgment and regulatory standards.
12. Controlled and Restricted Medications
Rumini complies with all provincial and federal laws. Certain medications (including controlled substances) may not be available through the Platform. Rumini reserves the right to decline service where prescribing or dispensing is not legallyor clinically appropriate.
13. Shipping & Delivery Policy (Incorporated into These Terms)
Effective Date: November 2025
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how medication or treatment products are processed, packaged, shipped, and delivered after being prescribed through the Platform.
13.1 Overview
At Rumini, privacy, safety, and satisfaction are top priorities. Rumini collaborates exclusively with OCP-accredited pharmacies to ensure prescriptions are filled, packaged, and delivered according to Health Canada Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Ontario regulatory standards.
13.2 Prescription Processing
- Once your online assessment is reviewed and approved by a licensed Ontario healthcare provider, your prescription is electronically sent to Rumini Pharmacy or an OCP-accredited partner pharmacy for dispensing.
- The pharmacy prepares medication in accordance with Health Canada and OCP regulations.
- Most prescriptions are processed within 1–2 business days after approval.
- You will receive an email or text confirmation once your order is processed and ready for shipment.
13.3 Packaging Standards
To protect your privacy and the integrity of your medication, shipments use:
- Tamper-evident and temperature-appropriate packaging (where required)
- Unmarked, discreet exterior packaging that does not indicate medication contents or health information
- Sealed internal labeling compliant with OCP labeling standards (medication name, dose, prescriber, and patient details)
Each order is verified by a pharmacist before dispatch for safety, accuracy, and quality control.
13.4 Shipping Methods
Delivery Options
- Standard Delivery (2–5 business days): Complimentary for most Ontario addresses
- Express Delivery (1–2 business days): Available at an additional charge depending on postal code
- Same-Day Local Delivery (where available): Offered through select partner pharmacies in urban Ontario areas (e.g., GTA, Ottawa, Hamilton)
All deliveries require a valid signature upon receipt to maintain confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access.
13.5 Delivery Timeframes (After Processing)
- GTA: 1–2 business days
- Other Ontario regions: 2–5 business days
- Rural/remote areas: up to 7 business days
Delivery times may vary during holidays, extreme weather, or courier disruptions.
13.6 Tracking Your Order
- Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.
- You can track via the courier’s website at any time.
- Support can assist with tracking at admin@rumini.ca.
13.7 Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If you miss delivery:
- The courier typically leaves a delivery notice with instructions for re-delivery or pick-up.
- If not collected within the designated timeframe, the package is returned to the dispensing pharmacy for safety.
If delayed, damaged, or lost, contact support within 5 business days of the expected delivery date so Rumini can investigate with the courier and pharmacy partner.
13.8 Delivery Restrictions
- Rumini operates exclusively in Ontario.
- No shipping outside Ontario or internationally.
- Deliveries cannot be made to P.O. boxes, public drop locations, or third-party mail forwarding services.
- Controlled substances and refrigerated medications (if applicable) may require additional handling or verification.
13.9 Shipping Fees
- Standard delivery: Usually included in the program or medication fee.
- Express/same-day delivery: Optional upgrades may apply and will be displayed before checkout.
- Re-delivery charges: If delivery fails due to incorrect address or unavailability, additional courier charges may apply.
All costs are disclosed before payment confirmation.
13.10 Refunds, Returns, and Replacements (Shipping-Related)
Due to regulatory requirements, pharmacies cannot accept returned or refunded prescription medications, even if unopened.
If you receive:
- The wrong medication,
- A damaged package, or
- An incomplete order,
notify Rumini at admin@rumini.ca within 48 hours of delivery. Rumini will coordinate with the dispensing pharmacy, which may include a replacement at no additional charge.
13.11 Confidentiality and Privacy During Delivery
Rumini follows PHIPA, PIPEDA, and applicable Health Canada privacy requirements:
- Only authorized pharmacy staff and courier agents access shipment information.
- No medical details appear on outer packaging or delivery labels.
- Digital records are encrypted and stored securely on Canadian servers.

Shipping Disclaimer
Rumini Health acts solely as a telehealth service provider and does not dispense, package, or ship medications directly. Dispensing, packaging, and shipping are performed by licensed Ontario pharmacies in compliance with OCP and Health Canada regulations.
14. Returns, Errors, and Safety Holds
For safety reasons, prescription medications are generally non-returnable once dispensed.
If you receive the wrong medication or a damaged/tampered package:
- Do not use the medication;
- Contact Rumini immediately; and
- Follow any instructions provided by the pharmacist or support team.
Rumini may place an order on hold or delay dispensing if safety, identity verification, delivery integrity, or regulatory concerns arise.
15. Communications and Electronic Consent
By using the Platform, you consent to receive service-related communications electronically, including by email, SMS, and in-app messaging, such as:
- Clinical requests and follow-ups
- Order updates and delivery notices
- Required legal or regulatory notices
- Payment and receipt confirmations
You are responsible for maintaining current contact information and ensuring messages from Rumini are not blocked.
By accessing, browsing, or using this website and/or Rumini’s patient portal and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by Rumini Pharmacy’s Terms of Use and all incorporated policies (including the Shipping & Delivery Policy). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use this website or the Platform. Continued use of the website after any updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms
16. Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use
All Platform content, software, systems, trademarks, and materials are owned by Rumini or its licensors. You may not:
- Misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the Platform;
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes; or
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit Platform materials except as permitted by law.
Rumini may suspend or terminate access if it reasonably believes you violated these Terms or created safety/regulatory risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Rumini is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Rumini’s total liability for any claim related to the Platform or services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that disputes will be brought in the courts located in Ontario, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Updates to These Terms
Rumini may update these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, clinical, legal, or regulatory changes. The “Last Updated” date will change when updates occur. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
