Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Overview

At Rumini Health, your privacy, safety, and satisfaction are our top priorities.
We collaborate exclusively with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)–accredited partner pharmacies to ensure all prescriptions are filled, packaged, and delivered according to Health Canada’s Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Ontario regulatory standards.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how your medication or treatment products are processed, packaged, shipped, and delivered after being prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider through the Rumini platform.

2. Prescription Processing

  • Once your online assessment is reviewed and approved by a licensed Ontario healthcare provider, your prescription is electronically sent to one of our partnered OCP-accredited pharmacies for dispensing.
  • The pharmacy will prepare your medication in accordance with Health Canada and OCP regulations.
  • Most prescriptions are processed within 1–2 business days after approval.
  • You will receive an email or text confirmation once your order has been processed and is ready for shipment.

3. Packaging Standards

To protect your privacy and the integrity of your medication, all shipments are prepared using:
  • Tamper-evident and temperature-appropriate packaging (where required).
  • Unmarked, discreet exterior packaging that does not indicate medication contents or health information.
  • Sealed internal labeling that complies with OCP labeling standards (medication name, dose, prescriber, and patient details).

Each order is verified by a pharmacist before dispatch to ensure safety, accuracy, and quality control.

4. Shipping Methods

Rumini’s partner pharmacies use licensed, compliant delivery services including Canada Post, Purolator, and UPSthat meet healthcare transport standards.

Delivery Options

  • Standard Delivery (2–5 business days):
    Complimentary for most Ontario addresses.
  • Express Delivery (1–2 business days):
    Available at an additional charge, depending on your postal code.
  • Same-Day Local Delivery (where available):
    Offered through select partner pharmacies in urban Ontario areas (e.g., GTA, Ottawa, Hamilton).

All deliveries require a valid signature upon receipt to maintain patient confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Typical timeframes after your order has been processed:
  • Greater Toronto Area (GTA): 1–2 business days
  • Other Ontario regions: 2–5 business days
  • Rural or remote areas: Up to 7 business days

Please note: Delivery times may vary during holidays, extreme weather, or courier service disruptions.

6. Tracking Your Order

  • Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.
  • You can track your package through the courier’s website at any time.
  • Rumini’s customer support team can also provide tracking assistance if needed at admin@rumini.ca.

7. Missed or Delayed Deliveries

If you miss your delivery:
  • The courier will typically leave a delivery notice with instructions for redelivery or pick-up.
  • If the package is not collected within the designated timeframe, it will be returned to the partner pharmacy for safety reasons.

If your package appears delayed, damaged, or lost, contact our support team within 5 business days of the expected delivery date.
We will investigate with the courier and pharmacy partner to ensure the issue is resolved promptly.

8. Delivery Restrictions

  • Rumini currently operates exclusively in Ontario.
    We do not ship medications outside Ontario or to any international address.
  • Deliveries cannot be made to P.O. boxes, public drop locations, or third-party mail forwarding services.
  • Controlled substances and refrigerated medications (if applicable) may have specific handling or verification requirements.

9. Shipping Fees

  • Standard delivery: Usually included in the program or medication fee.
  • Express or same-day delivery: Optional upgrades may apply and will be clearly displayed before checkout.
  • Re-delivery charges: If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address or unavailability, additional courier charges may apply.

All applicable delivery costs will be disclosed before payment confirmation.

10. Refunds, Returns, and Replacements

Due to regulatory requirements, pharmacies cannot accept returned or refunded prescription medications, even if unopened.

However, if you receive:

  • The wrong medication,
  • A damaged package, or
  • An incomplete order,

Please notify us at admin@rumini.ca within 48 hours of delivery.
Our team will coordinate a resolution with the dispensing pharmacy, which may include a replacement at no additional charge.

11. Confidentiality and Privacy

Rumini follows all requirements under PHIPA, PIPEDA, and Health Canada privacy laws to protect your personal health information during every stage of delivery.
  • Only authorized pharmacy staff and courier agents have access to your shipment information.
  • No medical details appear on outer packaging or delivery labels.
  • Digital records are encrypted and stored securely on Canadian servers.
