Rumini Terms of Use

1. Definitions & Platform Overview
- Rumini, we, us, our refers to Rumini Health Inc.
- User, you, your means any individual using our services.
- Authorized Healthcare Professionals are physicians or nurse practitioners licensed in Ontario.
- Healthcare Services include asynchronous assessments, virtual consultations, prescriptions, and free medication delivery.
- The Platform includes rumini.ca and any applications we operate.
Rumini offers asynchronous and synchronous telehealth, secure medical messaging, prescription writing, and coordinating delivery via a licensed pharmacy network.
2. Eligibility & Geographic Scope
- Must be 18+ years old (or minor with guardian consent).
- Must reside and remain physically located in Ontario during service use.
- Should not rely on Rumini for emergency care.
- You must honestly and accurately provide all required medical information.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that do not comply with eligibility or provide false information.
3. Registration & Account Management
- Account registration requires identity verification and health card (OHIP or private) upload.
- You are responsible for accuracy and completeness of account data.
- You’re responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and providing updates when details change.
If unauthorized access is suspected, contact support immediately at support@rumini.ca.
4. Healthcare Services & Consultations
- Initial care begins with an asynchronous medical assessment; depending on your condition, an audio/video follow‑up may be required.
- Authorized Healthcare Professionals evaluate your information and may prescribe medications if medically appropriate.
- Response time: typically within 24 hours, but can vary depending on caseload
- These services are not substitutes for in-person medical care; follow-up or referrals to walk-in clinics or hospitals may be required.
5. Prescriptions & Medication Delivery
- Prescriptions are issued by authorized clinicians and delivered to you free of charge within Ontario.
- Medications are shipped by a licensed pharmacy partner via discreet packaging, often within 2–3 business days
- You are responsible for following dosage and safety instructions, and for advising of any allergens or contraindications.
- Medication must be used solely by the person named in the prescription.
- Cancellation or returns of medication shipments may be limited once processing begins; refer to our cancellation policy for details
6. Fees & Insurance
- While OHIP may cover certain visits or medications, most services require payment.
- Visit fees will be clearly displayed before confirming services.
- You are responsible for paying any applicable charge, and for providing accurate insurance information.
- Rumini may accept private insurance or OHIP+ where eligible; coverage varies by medication and patient profile
7. Communications & Virtual Care Risks
- All interaction must occur via the Rumini Platform; do not contact providers directly outside the system.
- Electronic communication may carry risks (misdelivery, interception, unauthorized access). We use secure messaging, but cannot guarantee complete confidentiality
- You must conduct assessments or calls in a private setting using secure devices.
- Recordings are prohibited unless you obtain explicit consent from involved healthcare professionals.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity or medical needs.
- Share or distribute care instructions intended for personal use.
- Use the service for unlawful, inappropriate, or fraudulent activity.
- Interfere with other users’ accounts or compromise our platform integrity.

- Rumini is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to service use or delivery delays.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.
- Medical recommendations are provided by licensed professionals based on information you supply; outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
12. Termination & Modifications
- Rumini reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations or non-compliance.
- We may update these Terms at any time; changes will be posted, and continued use implies acceptance of revised Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Legal claims shall be dealt within Ontario courts.
