Rumini Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 2, 2025 Last Updated: November 4, 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Rumini Health Inc.’s (“Rumini”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) digital healthcare services and website (collectively, the “Rumini Platform”).
By creating an account, completing a medical assessment, or using any part of the Rumini Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and with our Privacy & Consent Policy, both of which form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “User”) and Rumini Health Inc.
1. Definitions & Platform Overview
Rumini refers to Rumini Health Inc., an Ontario-registered company providing digital access to healthcare services via licensed professionals.
User means any person who creates an account, completes a medical assessment, or receives healthcare or pharmacy services through the Rumini Platform.
Authorized Healthcare Professionals are physicians or nurse practitioners licensed in Ontario to practice medicine or prescribe treatment through virtual care.
Healthcare Services include asynchronous or synchronous telehealth consultations, medical assessments, prescriptions, pharmacy coordination, and related patient education.
Pharmacy Partner(s) refers to licensed pharmacies in Ontario (including Vanrose Medical Centre and Pharmacy, Brampton) that dispense and deliver prescriptions on behalf of users.
Rumini provides secure, compliant, and discreet telehealth and tele-pharmacy services including:
- Asynchronous online consultations
- Real-time (video or audio) follow-ups where required
- Secure medical messaging and document exchange
- Prescription issuance and renewal
- Medication dispensing and free delivery within Ontario
Rumini is not a medical clinic or pharmacy. All diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatments are performed solely by independent, regulated professionals.
2. Eligibility & Geographic Scope
To use Rumini’s services, you must:
- Be 18 years or older, or a minor with guardian consent;
- Be a resident and physically located within Ontario, Canada, at the time of consultation;
- Provide complete and truthful personal, contact, and health information;
- Possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
Rumini services are only available within Ontario. Users outside the province are not eligible to receive care or prescriptions through the Platform.
Rumini is not an emergency care service. If you require urgent medical attention, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate eligibility rules.
3. Registration & Account Management
To access Rumini, you must create an account and verify your identity (e.g., uploading your Ontario Health Card (OHIP) or other accepted ID).
You agree to:
- Maintain accurate, current, and complete information;
- Keep your login credentials confidential;
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity by emailing admin@rumini.ca;
- Use one account per person (multiple accounts per user are prohibited).
You are responsible for all activities performed through your account. Rumini will not be liable for loss or damages resulting from failure to maintain account confidentiality.
4. Nature of Healthcare Services
Healthcare services on the Rumini Platform begin with an asynchronous medical questionnaire. Depending on the case, a healthcare professional may request a synchronous (audio or video) consultation before prescribing treatment.
Authorized Healthcare Professionals:
- Evaluate your submitted health information;
- Prescribe medications only if clinically appropriate;
- May refuse or discontinue care if virtual treatment is unsuitable or unsafe;
- May refer you to a primary care provider or clinic for further evaluation.
Typical assessment turnaround time is within 24 hours, though this may vary based on patient volume and clinical complexity.
These services are not a replacement for in-person primary care, and Rumini encourages you to maintain regular care with your family doctor or primary provider.
5. Prescriptions & Medication Delivery
- Prescriptions are written exclusively by Ontario-licensed practitioners through the Rumini Platform.
- All medications are dispensed and shipped by licensed Ontario pharmacies, currently fulfilled through our partner sites.
- Standard shipping time: 2–3 business days, province-wide.
- Medications are delivered discreetly and confidentially to your verified address with a required signature upon delivery.
- All medications are packaged discreetly and securely in tamper-evident, temperature-controlled packaging to protect product integrity, patient confidentiality, and compliance with pharmacy safety standards throughout transport and delivery.
- Patients must report allergies or contraindications before fulfillment.
- Medications must be used only by the person named on the prescription.
Returns and Cancellations:
Once a prescription has been filled or shipped, it cannot be returned or refunded unless required by law.
Unclaimed medications may be safely destroyed 30 days after the fill date.
For delivery issues or cancellations before fulfillment, contact admin@rumini.ca or your dispensing pharmacy.
Rumini Health Inc. is a telehealth service that provides virtual medical assessments, clinical care coordination, and prescription management. Rumini is not a pharmacy and does not dispense, sell, or ship medications.
In accordance with Ontario telehealth and pharmacy regulations, all prescriptions issued through Rumini must be filled by a licensed pharmacy. Patients have the full right to choose any pharmacy they prefer to dispense their medication—whether a local pharmacy or one of our partner pharmacies.
Medication costs, dispensing fees, packaging, and delivery charges are determined and billed directly by the dispensing pharmacy. These costs are separate from Rumini’s assessment, membership, or renewal fees.
By using Rumini’s services, you acknowledge and agree that prescription fulfillment is handled independently by a licensed pharmacy of your choice, and Rumini does not influence or mandate where your prescription is filled.

Rumini collaborates with both public and private payers to maximize patient convenience and coverage.
- OHIP coverage: Certain consultations and medical services are billed directly to the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) when eligible.
- Private-insurance concierge service: Rumini’s administrative team assists patients in coordinating claims or direct billing with participating private insurance providers to streamline reimbursement for eligible medications.
- Patients may request pharmacy receipts or insurance-ready documentation for claims submission.
Rumini acts as a liaison (“concierge”) between you and insurers for facilitation only and does not guarantee reimbursement outcomes, which depend on your plan’s terms.
